Bollywood, through its movies, has constantly fed us with the idea that 'Ek Ladka Aur Ek Ladki Kabhi Dost Nahi Ho Sakte' and every time we see a boy and a girl as much as walking out the airport together, or having a smoke on the streets, it only sparks rumors of them seeing each other. The need to have a 'label' just doesn't go away, especially in case of B-town stars are constantly under the spotlight and each day of their life is internet's daily feed.
Something similar happened in case of Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan when pictures from their NYC rendezvous surfaced online and the viral photos dated back to July this year, soon became the fodder for gossip. The two actors in their casual informal avatars are seen enjoying a smoke on the streets of New York City. In no time, internet went on to tag them as a couple.

But these linkup rumors are not new to Ranbir and Mahira, back in March 2017, the two stars walked the red carpet at Dubai’s Global Teacher Prize event and video of the Pakistani actress pleading the Indian heartthrob back stage had gone viral.
Fans from both the countries were quick to slut-shame Mahira for bonding with the Sanjay Dutt biopic star over a 'cigarette' and sporting a backless dress despite being a mother. Netizens even claimed to have spotted a love bite on the actress' back. On the other hand, Bollywood actors including Parineeti Chopra, Varun Dhawan have come out in support of the 'Raees' actress. Across the border, Ali Zafar voiced his support for Mahira and another actor Osman Khalid Butt even went on to re-create Ranbir - Mahira's moment and posted it with a strong message.
While people are living Osman's take on the viral pictures, troublemakers can continue to troll him and the stars because, Ek Ladka Aur Ek Ladki Kabhi Dost Ho Sakte Hai!
